In the bustling streets of Naples, Italy, a young Angelo Falcone harbored dreams of a brighter future.
Raised in a family where the scent of freshly baked bread was as common as the laughter shared around the dinner table, Angelo was no stranger to the art of baking. His grandfather, a master baker, instilled in him a deep respect for the craft and the value of hard work.
In 1989, with nothing but a few lire in his pocket, a handful of family recipes, and an unyielding determination, Angelo made the brave decision to leave his homeland. He boarded a plane to America, a land of opportunity, with the hope of building a better life for himself and his future family. Arriving in New York City, Angelo faced the harsh reality of starting from scratch. The city was vast and intimidating, and Angelo had no friends or family to turn to.
Undeterred, Angelo took on various odd jobs, working tirelessly to save enough money to start his dream bakery. He spent his days laboring in construction and his nights baking bread in a small, rented kitchen. Angelo’s dedication was unwavering, and his passion for baking only grew stronger. He experimented with different ingredients and techniques, perfecting his recipes for flatbread crackers.
In 1991, Angelo’s hard work paid off. With his savings, he opened a modest bakery in the heart of New York. Falcone Bakery Corp was born. Angelo’s flatbread crackers, made with the finest ingredients and adhering to his family’s traditional recipes, quickly gained popularity.
